Unfortunately there has been a delay on the caps which will be locked into place with the insulator clip. We are pushing these along and hope to have them available in a months time.
Round Pens
This round pen is 17.5 mtrs in diameter. It has 17 posts about 1.65 mtrs tall, (I used 2.4 posts)
It has cost $265 in tape and insulator ends, although I recommend you get another roll of tape as that was very tight, or just run 3 tapes. You can also make gates to go with it.
All up including the surface which was 10 mtrs crusher dust it came in at under 1K. I love it! horses go really well in it but bare in mind my horses are kept in paddocks behind this tape which is electrified and totally respect it, I cannot say how it would go with a wilder horse who has not seen the tape before. Although the visual barrier seems to work really well.
How to Fix an EquiSol Fence!
After the recent big storm one of our fences ended up with some tree damage, we thought we would show you how easy it is to fix! No actual breakages except for an “oops” with the chainsaw! Easily fixed with a joiner. Then just loosened the insulators either side and pulled the tape up at the end to tighten. This fence was about 40mtrs long and there was about 250 – 300mm of slack pulled up. Simple!!
